Elaine Harrison has always had a love and talent for the arts. Since she was a child she would draw and paint images she created in her mind. Perhaps it was always her destiny to become a makeup and hair artist. 

Elaine started her professional career as the head makeup artist for photography at John Robert Powers which lead to her position in NYC for Ikon Model Management as the key artist in their photography department. Through her exposure in NYC, she has since landed commercial print jobs with magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Shape, and Allure. Whether working solo or part of a team Elaine adapts to all clientele and offers superior makeup and hair styling skills.  She has continued weaving her craft throughout the country for years, working with top photographers, model management agencies, and cosmetic companies.  Elaine has become a highly experienced and sought after artist. 

Elaine continues to produce fabulous images with her unwavering focus, reliability and attention to detail. Her outstanding work has gained her recognition from beauty forums such as makeupbox, the how to: a guide to makeup, and allure's Beauty Expert.  In 2005 Elaine landed a coveted position on the L'Oreal Pro Team where she traveled around the country teaching, speaking, and demonstrating her masterful skills.  She conducted seminars and classes educating the public on the beauty industry and how to use cosmetics correctly.  Through her work with L'Oreal, Elaine secured key consulting positions with Garnier Fructis, Revlon, Maybeline and Caress.  

Since 2007 Elaine has kept very busy with television and film.  After filming a few films, Elaine began to work for Investigational Discovery (ID channel) where she keyed several episodes of Reality TV.  Also in the mix were live events with ESPN,  and national commercial spots.   For the past three years Elaine has been the key hair and makeup artist for Hilary Farr and David Visentin on the HGTV show "Love it or List it".
